Love the owners, super nice people(awesome dog also. Capins were a bit small. Fishing was AWESOME! And they are very family friendly!
I had a few friends up at Woodland Beach this past Labor Day weekend and we had an awesome time! Kevin and his wife were very accommodating to us and treated so well! The boats were in awesome shape and they always available to help with questions. Would for sure go back.
Our family has been coming here for 18 years and we have enjoyed every minute of it. We are impressed with the upgrades they make in the resort every year! P.s you are out of twist ties in the fish house ☺
Beautiful view of the lake, plenty of fun activities for kids and adults alike (kayak, water trampoline, basketball court, fishing). Its my first time here and i will definitely be coming back
Woodland Beach Resort is situated on Bay Lake near Garrison, MN; yep by Mille Lacs, I personally would rather stay here and fish on this lake. The grounds a wonderful, most of the cabins are not too close together. Each year brings something new to Woodland Beach Resort, it was a pool and a hot tub last year. The docs are always sturdy and Kevin and his family are on top of everything and willing to take action quickly to fix anything in their power. Please remember all different kinds of people use these cabins and the kitchen ware always suffer. If you have food you want to prepare and have a favorite pan or set of pans bring them. I bring my knife sharpening system since the knives are usually dull. The camp office has a good selection of things but I would try and bring all that you need including dish washing rags/sponges, dish/hand towels. Bay Lake is an excellent lake to explore! Many different types of structure keep you on your toes while offering great fishing for the whole family. Get a lake map before bombing across the lake from the public ramp. There are buoys marking the channels and structures but knowing is half the battle.
